These earrings evolved out of my infatuation with the 'twist' - that timeless shape found so abundantly in nature (shells, flowers, waves and ferns, among many other manifestations), in architecture (spiral staircases), and in fashion. I have collected inspirational photos of twists on a pnterest board. In this earring, hammered silver twists down like the zest of a lemon peel, its end wrapping around a faceted citrine. Partners beautifully with the Zest Necklace.
