Like the other designs in the Dune Collection, this one is a play on texture. Here, polished, hammered and brushed silver remind me of sands on a Dune ruffled by wind. Three silver bowls nest as one. The top little bowl has a bright hammered texture. The middle is darkly oxidized with scratched lines of bright silver showing through. The bottom bowl holds the other two with a broad, softly brushed surface. Each moves freely, while remaining cupped together by the ring that joins them at their top. This necklace partners beautifully with the Nesting Bowl Earrings, the Nesting Bowl Posts and the Sanded Silver Ring.
